• Question: Would you consider using a a Rasberry Pi in an experiment? If so, how?

      Not really, I try to have minimal electronics in my fume hood and since the data I collect from the experiments is normally taken at the end, once I remove the solvent a Rasberry Pi system would not give me a lot more data.

      Most of my equipment is controlled by a computer, so if someone could develop the software to run on a Pi, I’d definitely consider using it to set temperatures, flow rates and pressures!

      We are using a RPi to control a LEGO spectrometer in our teaching labs; selecting wavelengths, recording data… it’s very cool 😀
