Well, 3 pm is starting to be a tense moment for me, but its been a blast, so if I were to be evicted I can take this experience and use it to better myself during public engagement events, especially STEM visits. I grew to understand the students more, which will help me throughout the next few years for sure.
Well, if I were to be evicted all I would have to say to the other scientists is taht it was a pleasure competing with them, they have been great.
I’m terrified! I am loving I’m A Scientist and it is a relief to know that even if I do get evicted I can still take part in all the live chats! I don’t know what I’ll do next week though…I might have to start forcing the Undergrads to email me questions that I can answer! I’d say to the other scientists that I think they are all amazing and it is a pleasure being put in the same category as them all! Some of their answers have made me stop and think and I have learnt a lot from both them and the students in this process. So thank you. To all my fellow scientists (and that includes the students!)
“Scared” is the wrong term. Nervous perhaps? Excited? Slightly sad too – it’s a bittersweet moment.
Of course it’s great to get through to the next round, but I feel sad for the excellent people that did not make it through. Everyone here does great work, they provide fantastic answers and put in a huge amount of their time to answer all your questions.
