I was just joking, I do research on biomedical spectroscopy so my chemistry background helps me understanding my observations from a molecular point of view. It is important to think about the matter as made of a discreet selection of molecules and trying figuring out the way they behave, interact, respond to light etc. I am glad I have a chemistry background while working in biophysics – it makes all truly interdisciplinary.
