Question: Is your work based entirely on lasers or do you get to work on other projects?

I’m split half between doing laser experiments and half between doing computational chemistry, which involves using codes that use what we know about quantum mechanics to predict how molecules will react with light.

There are some people who will make molecules and then test them using laser experiments but I get someone else to make all the molecules I want or buy them from a company.
