Question: is turning fruit peels into plastic your favorite topic?

I enjoy it very much! Green chemistry has been my favourite topic since I started Uni (7 years ago!!!) and involves finding ways to run chemical reactions in a way that is kinder to the environment and will stop us from using crude oil and try to reduce global warming. Making plastic from fruit peel is just a tiny topic within that but I love it. I feel like I’m really making a difference and that is really important to me. I don’t think I’d enjoy my work as much if it didn’t matter.
