Oh I do hope so megan!! I love cheese! Unfortunately all evidence suggests it isn’t. As a scientist though, I don’t believe what I’m told straight away so there’s still a part of me that hopes everyone who says no is wrong! Maybe one day I’ll get to go up there and find out for myself though.

It would be extremely odd if it were… That said, there is a bit of moon-rock in the Science Museum which I’ve seen, and it doesn’t *look* like cheese. But then I’ve never seen any 4 billion year old cheese.

You’ve got to then ask the question, “if it was cheese, why is it there?”

Growing up I used to watch a lot of cartoons, in which the moons was actually made of cheese. If its on cartoons then it must be true, and everything else is a lie, and that was the main reason why most countries have not sent any astronauts to the moon.

Having said that all proof shows that it is not made up of cheese, and it it were it would have to be very hard and condensed cheese. From the distance between the moon and the earth and the dimensions of the moon we can calculate the mass of the moon, which resembles the mass of rock, rather then any delicious cheese.

What makes you think so? It seems more reasonable to think of a ‘rock’ similar to Earth
