• Question: Have you ever discovered an element/bacteria/cure for an illness?

      My research has found a molecule that we don’t think has been seen before! It’s all very secretive at the moment though as we want to make sure it is what I think it is before we tell everyone!

      I haven’t discovered a cure, but finding a way that electrons move through DNA might give us some understanding about DNA’s reactivity and how it is damaged – damaged DNA can lead to mutations and possibly cancer, so knowing how it happens is the first step towards prevention (and possibly cure).
      It’s early days stuff though…

      I have discovered a way how we can deliver drugs to specific cells in your body, but that will take a long time to be available in the market, given that it would still need to get through a lot of testing to ensure safety and no major side effects.
