As a full time educator, I sincerely hope that my work affects my students in a positive way!

Sure, there’ll be some that think I am asking questions which are “too difficult”, but that’s really how I get them to *thinkMATOMO_URL If I ask a question that is easy to answer, then everybody will know the answer, won’t think about it, and then won’t question it.

As a scientist I want to believe that my work has the potential to change the world as we see it today. In reality this is normally different, and unless you discover something really huge this is not going to happen.

When it comes to my work I am being funded by a pharmaceutical company, and my research is part of their drug discovery program, so if it works it has the potential to make a number of medicines cheaper, which should effect a number of people in a positive way.

I hope my work affects people in a positive way – I think we need to ask people!
