• Question: do you like finding new planets

      I have to say that I don’t actually search for planets in my work! It would be cool to find one though – but you don’t have your choice of name unfortunately. Planets in our solar system have to be named according to the convention of Roman gods, while planets outside our solar system have be named according to the observatory used to discover them.

      I have never found a new planet, but that would be really cool to do so 🙂 It is not really my thing, as I work in synthetic chemistry rather then astrophysics, but I do enjoy looking at the stars and think about how big the universe is.
