• Question: Are there other universes?

      Research about this is ongoing, but nobody really knows the answer. There is a huge possibility that other universes might exist, but we have not detected any of them yet. In science lack of evidence does not mean that it does not exist, it only means that we do not yet have the apparatus to find other universes.

      It is a great philosophical question: where *is* the universe! What is outside? Can there be an “outside” Even the word “UNIverse” says there is only one. What if there were many? What would you call it? The Multiverse?

      It would be churlish to say that there aren’t any other universes, but the trick is how would we know that they exist? Even 20 years ago we weren’t aware of planets outside our own solar system, but we developed a technique to spot them. Maybe the same will happen with other universes too…

      We have no idea. There are theories that they do but I have no idea how we would go about testing those theories and detecting them!
      I can’t see why there would not be more to be honest though, it seems silly to think that we are in the only universe and nothing else exists outside of that. But I have no proof so wouldn’t like to guess!
