      Ooh… what a subjective question!
A banana is largely a banana – you know what a banana tastes like, so any variation is just ‘degrees of ripeness’.

An apple on the other hand… ok you have the boring ones like golden delicious, or granny smiths (yuck), but then you have really nice ones like gala, pink lady, cox orange pippin, russet…. the list goes on! We’re really in apple season now, so go and get some delicious home-grown apples.
Give them a sniff before biting in though – if they’re not ripe, they’re not nice to eat. If it smells good enough to eat, it probably is!

Apples I guess because I love apple sauce!! But realistically I’m not a huge fan of either! I much prefer berries…strawberries and cream, raspberries and cream, blueberries and cream….

I like both, but I think I would go with bananas, as I normally ‘eat’ these after I put them in a blender with milk and ice cream to make a delicious smoothy. Unfortunately one cannot do that with apples, although apples on their own are great as well.

Bananas probably but only if they aren’t too ripe. They’re best when they’ve just stopped being green. Apples are great in cakes and things so I really enjoy cooking with them.
