I know I’m not Andrew, but I hate having unanswered questions, lool. If Mars and Earth blew up we will turn into dust, molecules, and those molecules might end up in the formation of a new star, maybe a new planet.

Bacteria found on earth might end up floating through space on comets and bring life to a different planet.

We’d be pretty stuffed actually… as a species we’d cease to exist, but we would effectively become ‘stardust’ (though we are already that!). Eventually our atoms would probably come together into asteroids, which would then collide with others, and form a new planet which, given enough time, might just about form another ‘earth like’ planet.
The trick is “time”… it’s taken us half the Sun’s life to get where we are now. Assume the same time-span, and the sun would be about to die by the time any ‘new planet’ might be harbouring life…
