• Question: what has been your favorite part of being in this competition?

      My favourite part of this competition has definitely been the live chats – they really are quite a rush! But the questions we have been asked over the past two weeks have really been a challenge to answer! Particularly as I am not an expert in every area we have been asked about!

      You will probably notice that most answers we give are looking at the question from a spectroscopy perspective (as far as possible), because this is the area that we are experts in.
      Hopefully we’ve given answers which have been interesting, and above all, don’t just take our word for it – hopefully it has given you the inspiration to go and read more about anything we’ve said that interests you!

      I have to admit that I love the ASK question, where I can simply answer everybody’s questions in due time, giving me ample time to go into detail without becoming boring.

      The live chats have always been great, but there were a number of sessions where the kids were either totally not interested at all or nobody showed up. Apart from this, when the kids were really interested I felt I did not have enough time to answer their questions to the best of abilities 🙂
