Question: What do you find the most gross aspect of your job?

Some of the chemicals that I use are really stinky! The kind of smells that seem to bury themselves in your clothes and hair and skin so you smell of them for days!! It means that as soon as I get home from work I have a hot shower to try and wash all of the smells off me but I’m not convinced it works…

Yes, I remember my time in the chemistry synthesis labs… Being told by my housemates to change my clothes because they smelled of lab chemicals, then being told to have a shower because my hair smelled of lab chemicals. What was *really* scary was when someone commented that my breath smelled of lab chemicals…. Fortunately fume extraction is much better now than it was!

Haha! That is quite worrying Andrew!! Luckily I haven’t got to that stage yet!
